From the incredible winery of Olivier Rivière, this brilliant red wine is made from old-vines Tempranillo grown in the the most classic and profound sub-zone of Rioja Alta.

This is a jet-black, juicy, fruity, mouth-filling and mouth-watering red wine that proves that not all Riojas have to be aged in oak barrels in order to get the most out of the fruit of the vineyard. This wine shows expressive black berry and strawberry, subtle spices and a gorgeous warmth of texture and depth to boot.

91 Points Robert Parker, which is interesting as it's such a non-Parker wine style, this is a wine that is impressive because it's simply excellent. Made from a blend of 40% Tempranillo, 40% Garnacha and 20% Graciano, it is kept in tank until bottling. The freshness and fruity intensity comes from the destemming process that gives the wine a gorgeous mouthfeel, while there is some reduction on the nose, which invites you and I to open it early and after letting it breath, jump on in and enjoy a very delicious and very much alive, new style of Rioja.
