Lagrein

Lagrein is a red wine grape native to the valleys of northern Italy in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region, close to the border with Austria. Lagrein wines tend to be high in both acidity and in tannins. It's normally best blended, and one Ben Glaetzer,in South Australia, blends it with another Italian grape, Dolcetto, with excellent results.

Lambrusco

The most highly-rated of its wines are the frothy, frizzante (slightly sparkling) red wines that are designed to be drunk quite young. They are really fun wines, perfect for summer.

Len de l’El

A white wine grape native to South West France. According to the appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) regulations, white wines from the Gaillac region should or (is it must) include at least 15% Len de l’El along with with Mauzac. Wine from Len de ‘El can be pretty full-bodied, with low acidity and nice, strong fruit.
