New Zealand Wines

There’s no doubt that Sauvignon Blanc is viewed as New Zealand’s calling card. And it’s not surprising, with its unique gorgeous refreshing zesty, citrusy, cut grass, fruit flavours. But it wasn't always the case, with the first Sauvignon Blanc vines being planted as recently as the 1970s. Of course they make wonderful wines from other grapes too. Of particular note, the Pinot Noir from Central Otago is well worth seeking out.
