German Wines

German wines have been on the comeback trail for a few years now. Languishing in a sickly sweet Liebfraumilch-flavoured reputation for what seemed like forever, Germany has actually been quietly going about the business of making gorgeous wine since forever, it's just we didn't hear too much about it. But Alles Gut with these wines - Rieslings to the fore, dry, mineral and complex and absolutely dynamite with food, but backed up by a selection of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and the odd Pinot Noir.
