Since 1982, Au Bon Climat winery has been devoted to making the Burgundy classics,  Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Santa Barbara County, California. The cooling wind from the Pacific air, the soils, and east-west running valleys offer an ideal place for growing Burgundian grapes. Hence the name “Au Bon Climat,” the French for “good place”.
