Château Haut Bessac Blanc, Entre-Deux-Mers, 2024
Château Haut Bessac Blanc, Entre-Deux-Mers, 2024 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This is a gorgeous white from the long-established, yet forever up-and-coming region in Bordeaux called Entre-Deux-Mers, literally 'between two seas'.
It is bright, crisp and fresh, with layers of orchard fruit, blossom and a richness that comes from the Sémillon component. The wine really pulls you in with vibrancy and clarity making it a perfect match for a huge range of food, dining experiences and occasions. It's Bordeaux after all, it just happens to be a white one!
Made by the Glotin family, who have been producing wines in the Entre-Deux-Mers subzone since the 1930s, this is a property that is run by the fourth generation of the family, Yves, who loves the properties of this property for its ability to give Sémillon and Muscadelle that are aromatic, crisp, citrus-focused and refreshing, while giving depth to provide excellent food matching capabilities as well.
The family also bought Château Goudichaud, one of the most important properties in the region, established in the 18th Century. With this as a vehicle for income, the growth of the family's domains was inevitable. Haut Bessac is one of the best and produces red and rosé as well as this delicious white.
