The Perrin family make wines that offer classic examples of the Rhône appellations. This benchmark red, expertly blended from the indigenous Rhône valley varietals, shows the consistent winemaking quality of the Perrin family. A combination of vibrant fruit and a strong sense of place underlines the value that all of their wines offer.
The Perrin family manage the vineyards for all of their Côtes-du-Rhône wines. The Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge is sourced from the clay-limestone soils of Cairanne and Jonquières, which provide the wine with a mineral freshness, and blended with grapes from closer to the appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The wine is vinified in stainless steel before ageing in both stainless steel and oak barrels for 12 months to lend weight and complexity.
