Spanish Wines

Spain can be hard to neatly describe in wine terms. There's a huge variety in Spain's wine regions, from the green Spain in the north to the scorched Mediterranean. This, of course is great for lovers of Spanish wine, as there's a huge diversity in styles. Tempranillo is well known in Rioja, but also in other regions under its various pseudonyms. Most recently, the north has come into its own, with Albariño and Verdejo making for some classy whites, and matched recently by Godello.
