Italian wines, where to start? Italy really has so many regionally diverse and distinctive wine styles with unique tastes and wine making techniques, which makes it very hard to generalise. But we love them all here, the Ripassos and Amarone wines of the Veneto, the tart but luscious Chiantis, Barolo, Barbera, Nebbiolo, from Piemonte, to the wine from volcanic soils of Mount Etna, Sicily and Puglia.
