Mixed Seeds Case

When we 'planted' the Allotment, we chose a handful of wines that represent what we believe in: great quality and fair prices. We now have over 450 wines and we still believe in them all.

Plus, we bet that you haven't tried them all. This is your chance!

What we've done is take an average price point and reduce your cost by at least 15%. You'll be able to cross-reference the wines that you get with those on the website so you can see the savings for real! It's a chance to get familiar with wines from our entire range at a really great price. We're only selling the wines we already have!

If there are certain styles or grapes that you really, really don't want to try, that's fine too - simply drop us a note in the order and we'll steer clear of those!

The "Mixed Seeds" name is in homage to the Allotment where we live and the notion that once in a while you can cast a bit of caution and reap wonderful, if sometimes unexpected, beautiful rewards. Just like a packet of Mixed Seeds in the back garden! It is a bit of a return to nature, too; in the wine world we're seeing the increase of field blends where everything and everything is harvested, whether they know what they have planted or not. And for our part, most of the wines we currently sell are organic or biodynamic and are almost all made sustainably. We're celebrating this for you and with you as we try to do something a little bit for the world.

For each "Mixed Seeds" case you buy, we will plant an additional tree in Kenya through our partners in Greenspark. That's on top of the other projects your custom is already supporting, all over the world. Nice to know, hey?!

I must say the wine list here is amazing. Top quality and what I like the most is a rich info on every presented bottle. Pure example when someone puts their heart and knowledge into it. I had a few Burgundy ones and they were delicious! Superb packaging and delivery as well.

Hi, I'm Chris Gifford.

Welcome to The Allotment Wine Co.

When you buy wines from The Allotment Wine Co. you're supporting a small Irish business which in turn supports small, sustainable wine producers, as well as other small, dedicated Irish wine importers.

When selecting wines, I look for partners who share a deep respect and connection with the land and its traditions, witnessed in a firm commitment to quality and sustainability. All of which makes for better wines.
