Mourvedre

Mourvèdre (also known as Mataro or Monastrell) is a red wine grape varietal, grown throughout the world. Best known for playing its part in the famous Rhône blends of Châteauneuf du Pape, but it has also found its feet in Provence, Spain, as well as the USA and Australia. Mourvèdre is one of the three in "GSM" blends, the other two being Grenache and Syrah. Mourvèdre is also used to make rosé.
